After training as an actress in Munich, Vanessa returned to Switzerland in 2015. This was followed by 4 years as an actress, with various theater and film engagements.   

In 2019, she was tempted to work behind the camera. Starting as an intern at the production company Mediafisch, she made her first TV show as a producer around a year later. This was followed by another 3.5 years at Mediafisch during which she produced various TV shows.   

At the end of 2023, she made another move, this time into film production.
